[01 September 2023] Workgroups Updates & Structure

We are creating 2 layers that will operate under the DAO

(A) Consensus Layer - The Consensus Layer of Cerebrum DAO includes all stakeholders - including those that merely follow the Cerebrum DAO community and contribute from time to time, but may not hold governance tokens.
(B) Execution Layer - The Execution Layer of Cerebrum DAO includes the three Working Group Stewards as the execution leaders of the WGs. These WG Stewards are full-time members of Cerebrum DAO. Within the WGs, the Stewards are able to execute the decisions made by the Cerebrum DAO Members with the budget that is allocated to each WG.

How will that help us?

Basically, we will be focusing on the core operations of the DAO through the Execution Layer which will be made up of Stewards who are leading specific squads under 3 major Work Groups. This will streamline the process, plans, and of course, as the name reflects the execution of the items presented by the DAO. We will be able to reach a consensus quicker and push forward on building Cerebrum DAO and supporting brain and mental health across different realms.

(A) Coordination & Operations Working Group - focuses on the operations of the DAO and making sure that the communication is fluid between the members

(B) Community & Awareness Working Group - focuses on the marketing, community management, and growth of the DAO through external communication and business development
Awareness (incl. social media, podcasts, events)

(C) Neuroscience Dealflow Working Group - focuses on reviewing funding proposals, projects, and researchers, and maintains a pipeline of deals that are curated and filtered
